YorEnergy are encouraging residents in York to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes. These solutions include the installation of solar panels and batteries, heat pumps, insulation, glazing, upgraded doors, draught proofing, EV charging and smart controls, and we are seeking more expert suppliers to install them.
How it works
At YorEnergy, we want to make sure that we find the very best retrofit for each and every customer. This begins with understanding their specific needs and requirements, followed by a free home assessment conducted by one of our advisers to gain a complete understanding of the home. If a customer wishes to purchase a project coordination service, that qualified retrofit coordinator will then collaborate with the customer to identify suitable solutions.
At this stage, our qualified retrofit coordinator will prepare a free detailed specification outlining the desired solutions which will then be shared with our suppliers. Suppliers then provide quotes based on their specialism.
Throughout the quotation process, suppliers can ask the adviser any questions. Suppliers will have the opportunity to refine their quotes as needed, following provision of the initial quote.
The qualified retrofit coordinator will start work once the customer approves the final quote and payment is made. They will work with the supplier to schedule work and make sure specifications are met. If the customer hasn't purchased the coordination service, they will liaise with the supplier themselves.
This all in one process is designed to offer a seamless experience for customers while providing suppliers with the support they need.
